Interesting textbook for student or lay person

This book is designed as a textbook but is fascinating for the lay-person also. Divided into five sections "Sorting Fact From Fantasy", "Energy Containing Nutrients", "From Deficiency to Excess", "Applying Nuutrition to Life", and "Nutrition in Today's World" with a practical, everyday life approach. A useful and interesting primer.
The last owner of this book was great...

This book provided quality information, however it was hard to read at times. The pyramid information is incorrect (new pyramid was posted online recently) but the information on vitamins is well presented and easy to learn.
